We started the month off visiting family in Indiana. My dad threw a "back to the 60s" party and mom gave me a baby shower. When we returned I was all ready to get the baby room set up. We picked up the crib and a rug, even with the baby's due date so far away. But it sure made me happy! Next we started working on the closets. Mike got all of the doors hung, except the master bathroom. He even installed a closet organizer in the guest bedroom and brand new closet doors. Dan and Mike moved all of our stuff out of storage and then we had to work around the piles to get things back in order. Now it just feels so much more like a home. We're not just living in one room any more, we actually have a real bedroom, a finished guest bedroom and a finished baby room! What a long way we've come in the past 2 years.

Here's the baby room. Mike hung the closet door and installed the door knob.
Our crib was ready to be picked up right after we returned from the baby shower. I was also anxious to get the baby room all put together. So, we took a day and went up to Pittsburgh to pick up the crib, mattress, the rug and the bumper for the crib.
Another picture of the room. I have the bed all made up, but the sheets will have to be washed before the baby uses them. It seems that the cats enjoy sleeping in the crib and have cat hair all over the sheets.

Mike put in the window sill and removed the old windows. In their place is some foam that we upholstered in fabric so it would look fairly nice.
We purchased these doors from Lowes. They were the only ones that came close to matching our original doors without having to place a special order.
We moved out of storage and Mike and Dan managed to find some wigs from a box of halloween outfits. Here they are showing off.
And then there were boxes everywhere!
