In May 2005 we bought a 2100 square foot 
                farm house in Core, West Virginia that was built in 1886. This 
                was  the home of famous West Virginia botanist, Earl Core. Originally, the house was  a two story, two bedroom home. An addition was built in the mid-1900s turning it into a four bedroom, one bathroom 
                house with a den, living room, dining room, kitchen and utility 
                room. We have gutted the house and are in the process of converting 
                it into a three bedroom home with three bathrooms.
