In May 2005 we bought a 2100 square foot farm house in Core, West Virginia that was built in 1886. This was the home of famous West Virginia botanist, Earl Core. Originally, the house was a two story, two bedroom home. An addition was built in the mid-1900s turning it into a four bedroom, one bathroom house with a den, living room, dining room, kitchen and utility room. We have gutted the house and are in the process of converting it into a three bedroom home with three bathrooms.

At the request of many friends living far away, we created this website. Use the links above to navigate this site and see our progress. I'll most likely update the site on a near-monthly basis, so check back and see what we've been up to.
