In May 2005 we bought a 2100 square foot
farm house in Core, West Virginia that was built in 1886. This
was the home of famous West Virginia botanist, Earl Core. Originally, the house was a two story, two bedroom home. An addition was built in the mid-1900s turning it into a four bedroom, one bathroom
house with a den, living room, dining room, kitchen and utility
room. We have gutted the house and are in the process of converting
it into a three bedroom home with three bathrooms.
