Here's the baby room, drywall is done and the walls are primed.

Since it's too soon to know the baby's sex we decided to paint the room a nice sunny yellow.

Here's the guest bedroom, drywall is done and the walls and ceiling are primed.

While Mike was brewing beer I put another coat of primer on the ceiling and then put the base coat on for the faux finish.

Here's Mike helping me with the faux - white wash effect. Plain white just looked awfull on this very rustic ceiling.

Here's the finish effect. We're very happy with the way it turned out, but it was a real pain in the neck. It's too bad the master bedroom will need the same treatment.

We've taped a number of possible hallway colors on the wall to help pick one.

This is the plumbing as seen from the bedroom, before Mike took down the drywall.

Mike had drywall in the shower stall, I questioned this and in the end he decided to take it down.

Mike has started the shower tiling process. He has tar paper or felt paper (I forget which) stapled to the plywood. The next layer is a mesh steel.
